EMERGENCY RESPONSE OPERATIONS COURSES:
POLICE DIVISION

Since 1994, DriveTeam, Inc. has trained police officers from 120 departments across Ohio in emergency response and pursuit driving techniques. This training is done through DriveTeam's Emergency Response Operations Courses (EROC) division. Results show significant decreases in police crash rates and increased officer and public safety.

Current Courses Available:

One-Day Pursuit Supervision Course

Classroom
• Pursuit Management, Policy Decisions, Ohio Revised Code, Police Liability issues.
• Afternoon work-shop elements include:
• Multi-jurisdictional pursuits, Pursuit Case Studies

Excellent course for:
• Reducing liability exposure
• Supervising real world pursuits
• Developing pursuit policies and procedures

Tuition: $199.00 per participant
(Includes: Continental Breakfast, Lunch, Participant Book, Pre/Post testing, Certificate of Completion)

Two-Day Emergency Response & Pursuit Course

Day One - Classroom
• Ohio Revised Code
• Liability issues
• Vehicle Dynamics

Day One - Driving Range
• Vehicle Dynamics and the limits of adhesion.
• Driver limitations
• Hands-on experience with ABS, Traction Control and ESP safety systems

Day Two - Classroom
• Define pursuit guidelines
• Advanced vehicle dynamics
• Pre/Post tests to meet course objectives

Day Two - Driving Range
• Pursuit scenarios
• SkidCar training to safely experience:
Front-end "Push", Rear-end "Loose", and All Wheel Skids

Tuition: $499.00 per participant
(Includes: Continental Breakfast, Lunch, Participant Book, Pre/Post testing, Certificate of Completion. (We recommend two officers per vehicle)

Hemi-Cruiser Course
(Designed for the new Dodge Charger, Hemi-Cruiser)

Vehicle Dynamics curriculum focusing on:
• New chassis
• Hemi characteristics and limitations.
• Understanding how to use E.S.P. (a must!)

Tuition: $299.00 per participant
