Safe and Effective Ways to teach Teens to Drive
by DriveTeam Staff | Dec 21, 2012 | Articles, Blog, Latest News, Video
Hello I am interested in knowing if online classes are available for level 2 teen driving program? Also, out of the total 46 hour program for new teen drivers, how many hours are in car driving hours? Lastly, can the 50 hours driving with a parent be done along with the program or to be completed prior to?
Thank you for your time!

Tammy,
We do not offer online courses for teen driving at this time. For our program, your teen will spend 16 hours behind the wheel at our private driving range to begin their training. They will then spend 12 hours behind the wheel in our driver-ed vehicles with our instructors developing their skills in different environments, for a total of 30 hours behind the wheel with instruction. The 50 hours required by the state has to be done in addition to our training, but we require the teens in our program to complete 100 hours of training with their parent or guardian before they graduate.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.
